TERMS & CONDITIONS


General Responsibilities
When hiring an inflatable from Airbounce, it is the responsibility of the person hiring the inflatable to ensure that all possible steps are taken to prevent injury to participants and damage to the inflatable. Please follow our safety instructions:
  1. Often inflatables have an age limit. No one over this age limit should use the inflatable.
  2. Food and drink cause mess and a choking hazard. Please avoid this being consumed on our inflatables.
  3. Jewellery, badges, shoes and spectacles can cause injury and damage to the inflatables. ALL MUST BE REMOVED.
  4. Mess and stains should be avoided hence we prohibit the use of face-paints, streamer like items (silly string, party poppers and coloured streamers) on or near the inflatable.
  5. The area on and around the inflatable is a NO SMOKING ZONE.
  6. DANGEROUS activities like climbing and sitting on the walls must not be allowed.
  7. The inflatable should be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
  8. Inflatables have limited space and it is important that numbers using it are limited to ensure safety.
  9. Mismatched child size can cause injury, try to avoid very large and very small children using the inflatable at the same time.
  10. Turn off the blower when the inflatable is not being used.
  11. The front apron is a step for accessing the inflatable and should not be jumped on.
  12. If you historically or currently have back and/or neck problems, you should not use the inflatable.
  13. No one should be on the inflatable during inflation and deflation periods.
  14. If it rains heavily please switch the inflatable off. Cover the blower with something like a table to prevent rain entering into the blower. Excess water can be dried with a towel if need be.
  15. Some blowers have safety switches and they may shut down if they over heat. In this event switch the blower off at the mains and restart after a short period of time. If the blower ceases to work entirely please contact us straight away.
  16. Do not block the blower's vent at any time.
  17. If you are unsure about anything, please contact us.
  18. The person hiring the inflatable is responsible for any damage that may be caused due to not following our guidelines, the owner is only deemed negligent during equipment set up or failure of equipment. The owners are not liable for any injuries caused while the equipment is on hire. This is the sole responsibility of the person hiring the equipment.
Bookings, General terms, Delays, Breakdowns & refunds.
All equipment is the property of Airbounce. By booking with us by any means, be it verbal, electronic or monetary, it is an expectation that the person hiring the equipment has read, understood, agrred to and is bound by our terms and conditions.

If we are unable to fulfill our contract due to circumstances outwith our control, like traffic or weather we liable only to a refund of any monies paid in relation to the contracted event on a pro-rata reduction in the hire fee if the event start is delayed based on the start time. Delivery fees are not covered by this policy and no further compensation will be paid.

If any equipment breaks down during your event preventing us from being able to fulfill our contract be are liable only to a refund of any monies paid in relation to the contracted event on a pro-rata reduction in the hire fee (based on event start & finish time only). Delivery fees are not covered by this policy and no further compensation will be paid.

Pro rata reductions & refunds are also limited to the specific items at fault, not the package as a whole. This includes generator failure being limited to the cost of the generator only, not the items being powered by it. If this causes any concerns, please be sure to book backup generators from us at a lower rates. WeSTRONGLY RECOMMEND back up generators being booked for large events where possible.
Equipment
Airbounce reserves the right to replace equipment without notice for a similar type, style and cost should the booked equipment be damaged.

Airbounce has the right to change any product specifications without prior notice.
Site Location, Facilities & Conduct
Any equipment that is hired will be set up in the agreed location when we arrive and will remain in situ after it has been unloaded and inflated.

Delivery may be refused if the hirer witholds any information that prevents delivery such as excessive distance from unloading site, stairs or other obstructions or should our employee deem that your chosen site is unsuitable. Should this be the case no refunds are given and the full cost of hire will still be due.

The party hiring the equipment is responsbile for crowd control and crowd control before the event begins.

If at any point conduct of users endangers the safety of any other user Airbounce reserves the right to cease activity and remove all equipment. No refund wil be given and the full cost of hire will still be due.
Equipment Failure

Liability & Insurance
The liability insurance that covers Airbounce only cover the use of the equipment not participants. It is the responsibility of the person hiring the equipment to have the required level of insurance to cover the participants.

The client agrees to indemnify the company for any damage or theft of the company's equipment whilst on hire. All responsibility is down to the client themselves.

The company accept no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment. All responsibility is down to the client themselves.

Any equipment booked on 'dry hire' is not covered by the company's insurance policy and the client is responsible for suitable insurance cover. All responsibility is down to the client themselves.
Delivery & collections
When booking please allow plenty of time either side of your event start to minimise a start delay. Delivery and coillection time given is approximate and is subject to change without notice. We may collect up unitl midnight on the same day.

If our vehicles beak down and we are unable to collect our equipment we will inform you. Airbounce will not be liable or responsible for loss or damage to property or the surface the inflatable is inflated on. Airbounce is not liable for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the extended hire.

All items delivered to you are left in your care whilst we are absent until such time as we are able to collect the item(s) you have hired. In some cases this may not be as agreed due to circumstances out of our control. Please ensure that all equipment is kept in a safe and secure location, especially in peak season where collections can be as late as 12 midnight due to the high volume of work we undertake.

All items delivered to you remain your responsibility until we are able to collect them. This may be beyond our agreement terms due to circumstances out of our control. Please keep hired goods in a safe and secure location, especially during high season where collections can be as late as 12 midnight or the following day due to the high volume of bookings.

Should any equipment left in your care be damaged or stolen, regardless of fault or blame, Airbounce is not responsible or liable for loss or damage to our property.



Should any item(s) or equipment left in your care either through normal hire circumstances or extended hire circumstances be lost, stolen or damaged. Payment for repair or replacement will be expected in full and will be invoiced accordingly.

Suitable access to the set up area must be provided at all times. Should you choose to accept delivery of any of our equipment without correct access to the set up area, it may be necessary for us to travel through your property. Should you choose to ask us to deliver the item through your property. This company and or its employees will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to persons or property under any circumstances. Some of our items by their design or function may be wet, dirty, very bulky and have sharp objects that may damage doors, wallpaper, cupboards. As such we don not advise delivery of our equipment through your property and all responsibility for any damages occurring as a result of this method remain with person who placed the order for booking or the owner of the damaged property although due care will be taken at all times. If in any doubt, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH US.
Delivery & collections
In the rare event that you are unhappy with your booked equipment for whatever reason, there is no valid reason for withholding our equipment. In the event that a customer does withhold an item we will have no option to contact the police. Withholding equipment from is is a criminal offence despite your level of happiness with our service.
