We only take a deposit with bookings over £100 or if you have cancelled before for no reason then we will take a small deposit off you.
If the winds are over 25mph we will not deliver the inflatable and if you paid a deposit you will get a full Refund.
We will deliver your inflatable before 12pm and if we need to come before 9am we will contact you. We Start to collect the inflatables after 5pm.
Our bouncy castles are inflated using electric fan blowers. You just have to plug them in to a socket in your house or at your venue. We supply suitable length extension cables and rcd power breakers with all castles so you don't need to have a socket nearby. To deflate the castle, just unplug the fan and it will slowly deflate - please ensure that there is nobody on it at this time.
The person who delivers the castle will set up the castle for you, give you a demonstration on how to use it safely and then leave it in your control. When we turn up to collect the castle, we will also dismantle it. So no need to do anything apart from have a good time.
Please ensure the area the equipment shall be sited is free from any debris, sharp objects and animal droppings. We must consider the health and safety aspect for our operators and reserve the right to cancel any hire should access, or the hire site prove unsuitable. Cost will still be incurred.
Please also allow an additional 5 feet at the back and 11 front and at least 2 feet at the sides of the Bouncy Castle for health & safety reasons.
The castles are wheeled in to position using a cart, so we will need a standard size path to get the castle in to your garden or venue. If you have a lot of steps or a tight entrance way, or have access through your house please let us know so that we can assess the situation and send a second person if needed.
Yes. We will bring a 25ft or 50 ft extension cord with us, so you'll need an outlet near the set up area. The blower runs continuously and uses approximately £0.18 of electricity per hour. Comparitively your hair dryer uses more than that! NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before delivery.
Yes the bouncy castles can go indoors but you must check the height of the ceiling before booking. The ceiling must be higher than the height of the castle booked. Heights of all our castles are on our website.
As much notice as possible. During busy times we book up well in advance so let us know as soon as you have a date in mind, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Yes we hold full £1 million liability insurance. All our operators carry copies of this policy to enable it to be shown upon request. Our public liability insurance covers accidents and injuries caused by failing equipment or unsafe/incorrect installation. It does not cover safe usage of the products, this is the responsibility of the hirer. The hirer must ensure adult supervision and fair, safe play during the period of hire. As such, the hirer may wish to arrange suitable insurance themselves.
In most cases we don't charge a cancellation charge, so long as you give us some notice so that we can hire the bouncy castle out to somebody else. If you give us no or very little notice (other than for bad weather) then you may be liable to a charge.
Each bouncy castle has different limits, our website lists each castle and it's capacity. Please note children's castles should never be used by heavier adults, remember the hirer is responsible for any damage and costs will be charged.
We actually prefer to put the bouncy castle on a lawn area. For safety reasons we must hammer in 6 securing pegs to hold the castle down during use. The castle will have a ground sheet placed under it so the grass will not come to any harm. The holes left over from the securing pegs will disappear after a few days.
At this moment in time we don't hire our Castle out for concrete floors.
We usually deliver the castles first thing in the morning and then collect them later on that day. If you want it for more than one day please mention this when you book, this will of course be reflected in the price.
Yes you are, but you must bear in mind that you are in charge and must make sure that people who use the castle are safe, don't overload the castle to try to make extra money. As the hirer you are liable for any damages.
Generally speaking, between 6 and 12 kids at one time. This really depends on the size of the children and the castle.
Yes, they are designed from the ground up with safety in mind. In addition, we review all safety rules with you prior to use. While no one can guarantee safety, we do everything we can to promote safe use of our products to ensure your day is filled with fun, not hospital visits.
Prices start from £60 pounds for a children’s castle. All the prices are on the individual castles on our website.
We are only insured for children.
Yes. A slight slope is not a problem. Typically, we will place the entrance of the unit at the top of any slope. If the slope is more than a little, we may not be able to set up in that location. Your installer may request an alternate location so please have one in mind. The safety of the children is the most important consideration when selecting a setup area.
Rental periods vary. The typical range of rental time is 4 or 5 hours to all day (7 or 8 hours). You decide on the specific time you want the bouncy castle set up by and we'll have the equipment set up before that start time. It only takes about 20-30 min's for a children’s castle to be set up and ready to go. Also, you do not pay for our set up time, all rental periods are jumping time only! Pick up is based on the number of hours you rent for. If you have special requirements for an exact setup or pick up time, (for example, your event is in a location that you have rented for a specific amount of time) let us know.

No. In fact, Airbounce Cumbria does not allow for this. All of our drivers are trained as professional installers and are certified by Airbounce Cumbria to be the exclusive installer of our equipment. Our insurance requires that our installers do an onsite inspection as well. Where the safety of your children is concerned, we do not take any chances.
No, once the inflatable is sited and secured it must be left in situ.
Yes, all inflatable hires are subject to standard industry terms and conditions, which are designed to promote reliable, safe usage of the inflatable play equipment. As a binding condition of hire, we ask for this to be given the hirers best attention and then fully completed upon set up of the play equipment. We will leave a copy on site.
